Syn and ardith alone have trolled multiple people off the game on this forum. No one ever said [REDACTED] to them about it, but you are really going to defend ardith? It's not like he has never done the same, over and over and over and over again.

That's all I got to say about it though I guess. I just think it stupid that they are allowed to troll people, but people can't troll ardith. But my mouth is zipped from now on.

Potions are fine, wimp all the high quality ones in cities. Make the high end ones harder to obtain.

More on topic: there's no level 50 vials that I know of, and if there are, there ought not be. Very high level vials are no good either, though.

That's probably not that bad. Remove word, lower vial levels, nerf bash, adjust flee (since it will now be too good). Suddenly, decisions made mid-fight are important again.

You want to go straight into mind-blowing territory?

Restrict the level of spell that can be brewed into a vial to the max level of that vial, same with scrolls. You have a level 25 vial, goodbye vet+ spells.

Follow WickedWitch's idea and drop all the current high-level vials to 35.

Potential profit? I'm not sold, but it's an idea.

I think this kind of talk should be limited to player-createable stuff. In my opinion, there has to be a higher echelon of stuff to go after - otherwise you start risking the skills being entirely useless for anything other than detects, and ignored. The problem here, primarily with vials, is that there is no "quaff" skill you have to train in order to take a potion right and no chance of failure - it's kind of unique in that way, and I feel like it should be treated that way. I'm not sure I'd even include scrolls.

Eeeeeehh, I don't know about limiting the level of spell brewable to the level of the vial.

Who the heck would need to take a class on how to quaff a vial? That's like saying that there should be a chance that whenever you drink from your waterskin you should instead just empty it out onto the ground. And also stab yourself.
