Muktar. You are wrong. We are talking about MR barbs. Your solution is apparently to try to acid blast their herbs away, or to try and set them prone with spirit horde. That is dumb. Very dumb.

The point is this, there are ways to deal with it. One could whine about that prone is too good against sorcs, since they can't do anything while prone. Sorc's solution: get someone in front of them. There are ways to get around their MR and totally rape them. Find a warlock, there are bazillion running around these days.

Just because there's a way to avoid or prevent a tactic doesn't mean that the tactic isn't too powerful. In case you haven't figured it out yet, casting acid blast or blindness at an MR barb is a pretty stupid move, because they're spell immune. You'd just heal them. If your other response is to kill them with magma, well guess what: Magma doesn't do as much damage as spam eating mistletoe heals, not even close.

MR barbs should not be able to heal themselves through the eat command any more than any normal PC can by quaffing heal vials continuously. If the eat lag is increased that will fix this problem.

Yeah, and f up scouts even harder. Just make caps on the healing, if it is necessary. They aren't invincible now anyways and I didn't see anyone complain about that tactic when a certain griffon employed it.

Probably because I didn't realize how good it was until logs were posted.

Also, Muktar, you simply are not qualified to make posts in gameplay.

Like I said, you are only QQing about it now because it is being used against you. The MC dealt with it. So can you.

If Edoras and ardith agree on something, Muktar, you should realize that you're probably wrong.

They also QQ about anything is too powerful if the tactic is used against them but defend it when they are using it. If someone without a stake in the race were to comment about it, I might take it more seriously. right now though, they are just two people getting angry that someone is using the same thing against them, that they employed. MC dealt with it, so can they. It isn't anything special.

You realize that Ardith rolls around with Zonin all the time, right?

I know. He also used to roll around with Qahz, but he didn't whine about it then.

to quote Ardith

I can see a problem with this one, Muktar. Quaffing vials has a bit of a delay and lag time. You can't spam quaff vials and heal yourself. Mistletoe has some pretty strong spells on it and the MR heals them for almost as much as a heal vial. The problem is they can eat 3-4 between rounds, thus essentially getting as much or even more healing than what double heal vials give in combat. The difference is, mistletoe is stupidly easy to get compared to double heal vials.

This does need to be looked at seeing as the one weakness they have (melee) can be healed away. I can see a barb in a certain cabal never, ever dying as long as he has some scout friends...
