It is not a builder thing, it's a code thing. All rogue NPCs, apparently, now hold daggers. Many builders in hopes of making leveling a bit easier used classes that were not as tough such as rogues and swashies.

Oh god, who was daft enough to suggest this somewhere Dulrik had read access?

There should seriously be a disclaimer when you join the forum: "Players should not, under any circumstance, bring to the attention if the staff any breaks in realism in the SK experience if changing these aforementioned breaks will make the game worse for everyone. For more information on this subject, look up shovels in the in-game help file."

No one suggested it. The comment was in reaction to a change I had already made. It also had nothing to do with realism.

Honestly, I find this whole attitude to be pretty annoying though. On the one hand, you never want anything to be difficult. Then on the other hand, there are complaints that PvE is boring. You can deny it, but they go hand in hand.
