Damn, 'my man' is just slang and I used the reference to illustrate my point. While I am curious about many of the points in your post because I too have watched youtube before, stfu.

I think the core problem is the discrepancy in power and preparation time between melee toons and casters. For a necromancer to 'prepare' and be powerful fresh after a death takes around twenty minutes to half an hour, depending. For a melee class to 'prepare' after a death takes however long it is until you get a fully enchanted suit of armor and the weapon that matches your class, which is easily the product of ten plus hours typically.

So when a necromancer walks through town and j-loots four melee toons, he just took his half an hour and ruined several days worth of other peoples effort.

THIS is why it's so appalling to die to such an OP class. Every time I lose, it's days before I can put up a fight. Every time he dies, he can be back in my face in half an hour (in this case it's irrelevent since we never kill him). There is zero incentive to go find a cheap suit of tanso-steel for each of us and throwing ourselves back into meat grinder because we'll all fail the fear resist, get split up, then die 1 by one on round 2 after he types 'o all kill &*'

Something must be done to address this. Melee toons are UTTERLY dependant on a priest to enchant for them. Casters are not.

Not throwing yourself front row at a Necromancer is always a option, walk in holy words are not all you're capable of. There is always a class to outmatch another class when they know what they're doing and use the right tictacs for the group at hand.
There will always be less time needed for a Necro, sorc or shaman to pk. A simple solution is for you to get over it, especially considering most every darky has for a while now been giving the courtesy of leaving full bodies.

Atrisum doesn't like me because our characters are at odds.

This is exactly my point. It's only courtesy that keeps a melee character from having to start from scratch. Exactly why the disparity between preparation times is so illogical. As soon as someone fails the courtesy check, melee is back to square 1. Someone is rude to a caster, they are up and running in relatively short order. Not full power, but still quite powerful.

I have played plenty of characters that completely wrecked necromancers that other people got steamrolled by, even solo on rare occasion. When necros die, they're set back just like anyone else, and a naked necro does a really lousy job against anyone who knows how to exploit that. It's not the necros job to force his opponent to engage in a way that is not suicidal.
