I love the idea of spending Tokens on rolling Hellions/Paladins of any religion. How about one for panthiest? That way you can have a Hellion for some of the old gods, like a Hellion of Yenko or Zynor

I have it on good authority that alternate-god hellions and paladins is not going to happen. As for alignment changes, it's happened a handful of times in the past but only through roleplay efforts that make changing cabals look like a cake walk. That's also not something that's going to tokens.

I'm not meaning to be a plastic, but I know this is going to sound like it, so sorry in advance.

These mythological cabal and alignment changes ... what kind of in- and out-of-game things were even considerend sufficient for them?

I think I was around for some chick jumping from Druids to Fist, but I never did find out what she did to make that fly.

I like the idea of changing class. But what if it was almost just like rerolling the character with the same name? You start back out at novice 1. You know everybody you know, still follow the same gods (can't roll a class that isn't compatible with your god. ie hellion/pali and all that) but your basically a new character. Your rp relations stay the same. Dunno about tribunal cabal stuff. Tribunal you can stay in, cabal you have to leave maybe? But yeah. What are the odds of something like that happening? And if thats not cool, Is it against the rules to reroll a very well known character (cabal leader for instance) with the same name?
And last thought, Maybe if you re-class, and you've already gm'd (only possible at gm?) then you learn at an accelerated rate...
I know you will all rip my idea apart. but I wanna hear your thoughts on it. Dulrik, still a hard "no?" or am i maybe on to something?

I'd much rather be able convert loyalty points into extra stat points. Maybe I'm not getting the point of changing your class. Why not just roll another character?

I cannot speak to alignment changes as I have never been interested in that sort of RP, however, I can speak to having an oathbreaker flag removed and changing from one Cabal to the next. So here goes my real life story...

When I rolled Nosephthyki the plan from the beginning was for her to be a Druid. But after almost 2 months of RPing druid concepts and even writing messages about the tapestry and balance on the astral boards none of the Druids seemed to catch on that I was interested and she was not the sort to walk up to them and ask to be let in. So when after a bit of time the Harlequin took interest in her she accepted their offer. It was at this time as well that I was moving to the opposite side of the world and was not able to log into SK for about two weeks. During that time I thought a lot about how I wanted Thyki's RP to continue and decided that she simply was not made to be a Harlequin so as soon as I had internet again I sought out the Harlequin leader and asked to be removed. I had planned for her simply to be without a cabal for the rest of her life when out of the blue the Druids finally realized she wanted in. Obviously I thought it was too late and did not press for my flag to be removed. But I decided I wanted to RP as a druid anyway. I think in part I got lucky, the Druids at that time welcomed me despite not being a full member and I had some really amazing RP with them that I think might have been better due to the fact that I was not an official member.

The Druids at the time also started (on their own) asking for my OB flag to be removed and for me to be inducted as a full member. They were initially told no. In fact, after reading the forum thread about it, they were repeatedly told no. Eventually, after RPing as a Druid, fighting beside Druids, fulling tasks as a Druid, becoming an Elder Druid and gaining the trust and respect of every Druid old and new who were in the cabal during my time and after waiting almost a RL year. I was allowed to join them fully. Every member both IC and OOC felt that Thyki deserved to be a full Druid for the work that was put into her. I honestly feel as though I put more work into Thyki becoming a Druid than most people do for practically any cabal they try to join oathbreaker or not and truthfully I am ok with that and I am ok with that being the standard. It certainly shouldn't be impossible but it isn't, it is just difficult and needs to show you are dedicated.

I suppose if you want something written out as more than anecdotal evidence then this is what I would say are the minimum requirements:

Major Roleplay efforts. Extended in-game participation with a new cabal or tribunal as an unofficial, uninducted member. The character must be accepted by their members, and s/he must prove that s/he's willing to demonstrate that his/her new oaths are worth more/more meaningful than the old ones. It's not an OOC thing with the exception of stating an interest to the staff and perhaps the other members of the cabal putting in their voices in favor as well on the forums. Finally never, ever expect that the flag will be removed. As far as I am aware the staff have never said that following a certain path guarantees for the flag to be removed.

I don't like the idea of changing your class. I still like the idea of having a panthiest priest/Hellion/paladin or a shaman inside a religion.

All these things are possible. Paladins, hellions and priests lose out on high end spells for not joining a religion. Shamans lose spirit aura for joining a religion.
