Full 7 pieces of armor, shield, and about-body container. The end, IMO.

If it's a heavy armor religion, make the stuff adamantite. If it's not a heavy armor religion, energy.

If you want to join a heavy armor religion on a character that can't use it, that's your problem and the knights/priests of the heavy armor religion should not be punished for using their sacred eq just to protect the feelings of a few snowflakes.

IMO get rid of sacred weapons entirely. Those are always going to be unfair and uneven. One religion gets a sacred weapon of a subtype that's highly sought after, another gets a sacred weapon of a subtype that's useless. There is no way anybody will get this right for all the churches. Just get rid of them.

Enchantments, I would suggest 2 (moderate) of a save, and 1 Armor/Magic protection on the armor. This is not the 'best' but it's definitely useful. For container (and jewlery if you do jewelry), I would suggest 2/1/1 of the three saves. Also not the best, but definitely useful.

If you do jewelry, my suggestion would be 1 ring, bracelet, necklace for every religion.

Agreed with all of this.

But, I think sacred weapons for hellion/paladin religions would still be cool. Could make them all the same subtype.

agreed, but i would still get rid of weapons for everyone and just add more religious-themed/not tagged sacred weapons or even jewelry around in the game in general. I have a ring of blessed storms that isn't "sacred" and comes from a different place than the sadal sacred armor. sure, anyone could wear it, but that's what pk is for.

I think sacred armor should be balanced. But at the same time they should be different to fit the theme of each religion. I am not sure changing them all for the <insert number> time is the best use of immortal time right now. Unless there is a lot of people avoiding religions right now based on the sacred loot available? I would also be a bit dismayed losing my kit now for the sake of a game wide reset. Rather see it just be something that once it is junked it is gone and respawns as whatever new design is. I also feel like some religions should have something for hoof races. They get the biggest shaft imho.

I'm offering my time to fix something that everyone was complaining about (and complaining about how they'd been complaining and ignored for years), and now it's not a good use of immortal time.

Gonna ignore that last post, Trag.

I don't see everyone's complaints. So I didn't realize this was a major issue. I just want to request to be able to keep legacy equipment if it gets changed. I don't want to redo my kit because now it is time to revamp them. That would be a lot of time sink for nothing, Meissa.

Let's be serious here and not beat around the bush and waste everybody's time and try to find completely separate points to argue about.

Trag is only worried specifically about the sacred ring the Ain religion has that grants ironguard.

:P

Personally, I like the idea of not having weapons any longer. And I don't see the point of making them all daggers just because everyone can use them. As the lowest common denominator, no one would use them (except possibly a rogue?) and it would be a waste to even bother. Better to use it on an armor slot. In the same vein, I think all of the pieces should be ARMOR slots. No rings, necklaces, etc. This is a set of sacred armor not the sacred jewels.

Note: I really don't want to hear in the future about how "standardization ruined the thematic qualities" of the sacred armor sets. Therefore this is just my opinion. I'm not enforcing this on Meissa when she comes to me for approval.

I intend to keep thematic flavor in descriptions, lore, and PERSONAL echoes (that only are heard by the wearer). But as I completely understand the complaints about nonstandard sets and how this has skewed religion membership over the years, I feel this is a pretty good use of my IMM time.

Personal echoes are cool, I just hate being in a conversation and someone's armor decides it's a good time to interject a lecture.
