I'm not saying necromancers need a ranged spell, they most probably don't, but if one of their spells was going to be given range it should be Fear. Watching people flee in terror at a necromancer's approach, some of them right into him, would be awesome.

This is actually a really good idea. It would make necromancers much less bound by range and it wouldn't be an actual damaging attack, which would be too much, even at the magic missile level.

I think he has identified the problem that I have with a necro and the CRS. The fact is that CRS is in and since Durlik will not fix the broken system we have to live with it. I just do not think that it is fair for one person to have that much firepower under the current system

And for all you people thinging that life is not fair STFU!

There were plenty of necromancers when the adepts were getting their faces smeared in the dirt and the empire was losing steam. Did we take the relics back? Not for about five months. Did we have competent players? Yeees. Did we have good players? Yeees. Did we have great players? We at least had Delear, who's one of the best damn necros ever.
