It really just revolves around those three NPCs. There is a reason those NPCs are used so much, CoN has nothing else.

Let's say those NPCs were removed, or even just limited to one. CoN would immediately drop from a middle of the road tribunal, as it is now, to dead last without question.

The Talons have been brought up quite a bit in recent examples, CoN would effectively become even worse than the Talons. While the Talons only have Balacha as a decent level guard, all the rest of their city guards are mentor/masterish level barbarians with pikes. CoN would have 1 meat shield, and a city full of veteran level guards. Mercs with one handed axes and leather armor, necromancers that could spam cause serious on attackers, and other scary NPCs of that nature.

With the destruction of Krychire, we no longer even have the council necros that I know of anyways. DA might have one hidden away somewhere, but I've never seen any in the Moot. That would be the effect, CoN would go from competative, to a laughing-stock just like that. They're quite literally the only things worth a damn in the whole region.

They are mercs actually, but they can wear 8/8 bspears and come with some better than leather armor.

Much better than veteran level mercs/barbs who have battleaxes and machetes.

Or have you PKed with the other council guards when you had Vinziella Syn?

Not all, but quite a few, those giants around the city. I've had a Talon within the last year, I'm fairly well aware of which guards they get.

If it isn't a spellcaster, dwarf, or Balacha, the other NPCs(human/giant/centaur cityguards) are like the same level as the ones in the CoN, so please stop with the OMGZ OUR NPCs ARE LEVEL 30 CRY CRY!

And honestly, IMO, the CoN has access to every charm in the game. Do you want a high level merc NPC in your group? Summon and have one of the 5000000 sorc NPCs charm Derk or something. OMGZ YOU COULD EVEN EQUIP HIM.

The CoN and Keepers are both in need of a massive wimp.

Never pk'd without Balacha as a Talon really, either. So that point is...pointless! :o

Oh wait! I had to pk without Balacha(when in groups with other Talons), BECAUSE THERE'S ONLY ONE OF HIM. The CoN can get 3 members and 3 super NPCs. The Keepers could get 1254353 members and 1455563456 super NPCs.

Those giants con no match to a GM character, they're at least mentor if not master. The Talons have plenty of what in my mind are suitable average guard NPCs. The CoN has three powerful ones, and nothing beyond that. The Talons also have sorceror NPCs. Go ahead and charm something evil as you suggested the CoN does. :p

I think, somehow you guys keep forgetting the limitless supply of sorc NPCs, which turns into limitless supply of any NPCs you want(that are summonable/charmable).

The Talons get 2 sorcs.(which need to be used for buffs, since there are ONLY 2)

Keepers and CoN get like a billion.

Also, the MC sorc NPC is [REDACTED]. He can't cast like half of the sorc spells.

The thing with the "limitless supply of sorc NPCs" for the CON is the fact that most of them use them to charm priests to buff themselves. This requires multiple priests as the fact that charm lowers one's intelligence, thus rendering them quite stupid at holding spells. There really aren't that many. I'd say what? 6-7 sorc NPCs or so? I for one never saw that many and most were holding priests when they did have something charmed. Furthermore, it's not exactly efficient to have to order something to order something. In combat, I know I wouldn't be typing o all o <t> c etc.

Syn, you had a CoN member. How effective was the charming of NPCs? How hard was the cancellation of all the hard work that was done? Because seriously, you sucked at charming NPCs and you didn't do it that often anyway afaik.

If suddenly someone invades your city, you'll go find a veteran lvl sorc, have him summon Bill or Derk for example, spend like half the mana pool to land a successful summon/charm, then go and PK? After like 10 mins of preparation? When even the Talons can just grab a mentor+ lvl merc and go for the PK?

Can the Black Hand lose charm ability and get 1 lvl 45 orderable healer NPC like Percer and 1 more orderable priest NPC(level doesn't matter really) like Tylinda and then have the trio of NPCs changed to 3 level 45 giant barbarians? Or not 3 NPCs, 1 NPC only but then move all the other council guards up to level 40. Such a change would only buff up the tribunal, not wimp it. There it is, a tribunal like all other tribunals as you say it and so much want it.

All you people just whine for the sake of whining.
