It's intentional. Warlocks are not like other mages. You don't get identify or ethereal and such for a reason. You also have light armor.

Just for clarification.

I started this thread from my frustration of having an elemental, needing to buy a mephit to resize some EQ and not being able to because of me already having a pet (elemental).. then having to wait like an hour for it to expire.

Won't "free elemental" work?

SK Character: Delear - Maridosen
When a necro has a pet under 'control undead', can't buy a mephit either.

Yes, you can free your elemental. I used it sometimes. You can free them like anyother pet.

free <earth, water, air, fire> is the syntax I used.

[edit] Just for clarification though. If you dismiss your elemental, you won't be able to summon one again though until the normal scheduled time

Speaking of Necros, Fepel, remember that time that Ghent was helping me retrieve my corpse in the Necropolis and we ran into Delear with an army of undead? You nearly crapped your pants! :D

Yep, then he told me I shouldn't be there, and that when I was done I should leave. Could he have ganked me? Yes. Did he have every RP right to gank me? Yes. Why didn't he? No farging clue.

Why are you derailing a thread in gameplay? Because you are a n00b :P

As for elemental times, I timed it over and over again. It's 32 minutes and some change for Jeved at level 48. Not sure if it's dependant upon level, which wouldn't surprise me. Anyone know for sure?

After 32 Minutes you can be pretty sure it will be gone by the next tick and I'm pretty sure level doesn't make a difference.

Elementals are not lvl dependent [for how long they last]. They all last the same amount of time. If you say it is 32 then it is 32. I just never cared to time it.
