Monks are rather dangerous.

Just because you are a priest/holy man doesn't mean you can't lay down some smack.

Especially those heavy armored priests, big maces in one hand, bible in the other.

Why does everything in the game have to be like real life?

Why shield block instead of dodge?

Shield block implies a more militeristic way of avoiding damage.

Dodge just means I move as much as possible not to be hit.

Eh, he could handle himself pretty well. He took kung fu when he was young and is also ex-navy.

Priests are the only class that don't get the skill.

They are meant to enter battle at times yet they don't get it. Sorc and Necros get it and they aren't really meant to go hand to hand.

Priest are meant for healing, and blessing (enchanting) objects. If they choose to go into battle frequently that is their own choice.

Necromancers and Sorcerers need dodge because of three common things
1) They do not get ANY healing spells or sanctuary. *(without aid of magical objects or potions).

2) They tend to get into more battles in their lives vs a priest on average. There are some over zealous priest and there can be some hermit sorcs.

3) When teleporting randomly you can end up in the most unlikely of places and you need to survive long enough to get out.

Giving priests dodge would be like giving necromancers harm.
