Peso, I don't think anyone has a problem with hellions running away. What does that line you bolded have to do with anything?

Yeah nice red herring. Hellions running away is fine.

If a hellion ever lies, shoot them. If a hellion ever indirectly deceives you, tough [REDACTED].

Correct me if I'm wrong but the code is really a player run thing, like cities and cabals, if some one wants to look at a hellion with disdain because he did something so be it, but they are aberrent, evil, not friendly folk. I see it as my character would cheat to win, because he is dark and doesn't care, but when he faces other knights he give some sort of respect to the pally's art

Frankly the whole honor thing should be taken away from hellions, or the players themselves should do this. The concept of paladins respecting hellions as honorable foes really is a massive joke, infact anyone considering a hellion to be honorable needs to get themselves checked out.

They have literally the most dishonorable skillset of any class in the game, hands down. Its kinda funny at first to try and imagine them as honorable but quickly gets [REDACTED]. One thing that is always going to be on the mind of anyone playing sk is not what their character thinks, not what their enemies character thinks, but oocly what actually is going on. I mean a hellion can and will try to warp logic so that they can claim they are honorable, but at the end of the day both you and the hellions player know that the hellion is dishonorable. OOCLY there isn't a person who plays SK who thinks hellions are actually honorable, which is a problem if you ask me.

I'm satisfied with my hellion's personal honor. Of course, I'm not good enough to actually enforce his strength to make him really credible, but I'm quite happy with his honor.

Rial, you are right. Although, it wouldn't be the first class that has a skill set that is completely opposite of their supposed theme. D has said many times that bards are not fighters and are closer to mages and yet they get some of the more advanced attack types. The skill sets don't always match up with the theme.

Just deal with it.

i agree entirely with Osterich 2.0.

Hellions arent supposed to be played any specific way.. thinking otherwise is tightassedness.
