No offense, Muktar, but maybe you should try things out first hand before spinning off these wild ideas out in left field. In the past day you've posted your ideas for changes that needed to be done or are fine only to admit hours later "I actually have no idea what's up."

On this I would rather just remove it since I trust your info. On the starting areas, I have been to all but Taslamar and they are some of the most unnewb friendly areas. I have had several people that I recommended this game to and quit because of how unfriendly the starting areas are. They get frustrated on having to grind endless time to get a resize their eq or to even buy the eq.

...Yeeeaaaah. If they're taking advice from you on where to get newb eq and what to use, I can pretty easily see why they'd have no clue how to take or use some of the already-sized free or near-to-free eq for newbs that exists in all of the starting areas in the game.

They got no advice from me, at the time my internet connect was odd and they started it. I know how to play the system to get it almost all free or nearly free. then again, I have knowledge of the game. If a person makes a char in the Empire, do you really expect someone brand new to know that they need to go to a different kingdom to get something that isn't a practice dagger for less than 1plat? The only place I that is not horrible and everything is reasonably priced is the starting area for the Wastes. In Ayamao, you get free armor but have to either go somewhere else or hope that one guy might have an axe for sale. Assuming you can use an axe.

Muktar: "Man, leveling is totally impossible now because pets are so screwed."
Everyone else: "No, it really isn't."
Muktar: "Like I was saying, it needs to get fixed."

Sorry, your YIM fastrack mates don't count.

In both of the characters I've gotten to Master or above in recent time, I encountered plenty of people willing to group with me to gain levels. I did not know who any of them played.

Gold star to Muktar for managing to rally the community together in agreement on an issue.

What's really hilarious, is that there's a spell named for almost exactly this idea. No idea what it was ever used for, but its there.

Everything quoted here is dead wrong.
