I'm not particularly sure that sacred armor actually improves this problem. If anything, it means that people are more likely to take the position of HF just so they can dictate who gets the loot, and not because they actually want to lead the faith properly.

As another note, if the enchant change is actually going to limit the number of possible enchants that can go on items, then I'm pretty disappointed. I don't think that anyone except Muktar and spidermonkey actually thinks that is a fitting alternative to what we have now.

Ummm Just for the record, while I am somewhat in my head, I don't care what the changes are so long as it is less of a time sink. I am in favor of ANYTHING that makes the immense time sink of playing go away.

I like RP, some PK here and there is good. I don't like spending days hiding and running trying to get a new kit just to be jumped 6v1 and have to start over.

If D can fix that in any way that's cool, I don't really care how he does it.

By limiting the number of enchants a piece of equipment has, helps in many ways. First and foremost, helps the enchanter from having to spend ungodly number of hours just enchanting the suit sot hat it doesn't have MR, doesn't fade or blow up, or is all reflex. If enchanting is going the way I think it is, it will be better overall. Second, since it takes less time to enchant it, enchanters will have more time to actually RP, play the game, and/or get everyone buffed equally. That will bring balance to the game. Like I said though, if art isn't addressed at the same time, any change that limits the number of enchants on something makes the change absolutely worthless and makes SK a caster war again.

It'll make people less likely to fap to phat lewt, and encourage more PvP. It'll also be a buff to spellcasters.

This joke about you mentioning "encouraging people to PvP" is getting really old.

You're completely wrong here. Casters are just going to give it to you up the butt even harder after your so called positive change(if this goes in). They're always going to be dominant over ppl that are idiots and don't take the hours to put a fair amount of runes on their armor. The ppl who put in the time, should get the rewards. The others should just die horribly and delete if they have a problem with it.

Enchant won't change magical devices and spellcasters don't need a buff. People who still obsess over their K/Ds or loot won't be any more likely to engage in PvP.

The people who are good at playing the game should get rewarded properly. This sometimes involves spending time, and sometimes it doesn't.

I think lowering the amount of time it takes to be prepared so that people can focus on doing other things is not a bad goal to pursue!

Stop making assumptions about enchant changes. I will neither confirm or deny anything. /END THREAD DERAIL

The only change I'd support for now is making all the faith equipment hard to attain.

Cruor, if they are spending hours enchanting so that they can be super elite, then the problem is with them. Spending hours leveling is one thing, spending hours enchanting a helm is utter BS. If you like to enchant for several hours. You are absolutely free to do so, the rest of us actually have real lives outside SK and can't always be enchanting something super elite when we do have the time to play.
