I think the most elite effects ought to come from sets. If you had to wear all of GGI's equipment, I would not be adverse to not touching the level of the better effects (although lowering the level slightly would still leave them insanely useful, no doubt).

Sacred loot should probably all be more difficult to get.

lol, why would you remove scripts, but leave sacred eq intact, that is dumb

The perk of the sacred equipment. Also, RPwise, much harder to hoard.

In what way is sacred armor hard to hoard?

Step 1: Get a symbol
Step 2: Get the gear
Step 3: Log off

I would argue that it is easier to hoard the sacred gear than any other gear.

Yeah, but you can't get all.17symbols, unlock all, get all chest, logoff. With the rp reason of being, "What if a [certain cabal] destroys my first 12 sets?"

Ok? So you can't hoard multiple sets of the sacred armor. So what? One is enough. I don't understand the point you are trying to make, Muktar. Please elaborate (or don't...).

I'm not arguing, but I'd like to know how difficult you think it should be to get. And in what way difficult?

I wouldn't like the thought of needing a full group to traverse the perils of <dangerous place>, swim underwater in an antimagic room, just so one person could get their sacred armor.

I would like to suggest puzzles, or riddles, or something of the sort, but we all know how those go down in SK. Not even a speed bump. After finding out how to get through, most vets will write an alias for that particular place.

I'd like the follower in question to be able to, once at the location, be able to make it through the obstacles with little help. I don't want it to be easy, but I think it should be do-able alone. I know that not everybody cares about RP as much as I do, but if I played a character Pious enough to go get some Sacred Armor, I wouldn't bring people with who weren't members of my faith.

I think that might be a key, right there. What if it takes multiple people (say 3?) of the same faith to acquire the sacred armor. That way, presumably, the person acquiring the armor is completely approved by the church. Would that be better?

Unfortunately some churches don't have 3 active members. Or might have 3 active members but who keep different schedules.

Maybe your church just doesn't get sacred loot unless it's active.

Ya, if you cannot get anyone else to join your crappy religion, why do you deserve sacred gear?

I definitely don't like that idea. You can be the best RPer around and you still have zero control over whether or not someone else wants to roll a character to join your lousy religion. At worst this would encourage people getting their friends to play alts just so they could join the flock and shelve them.
