I'm only talking about my own experience with double heal vials. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

But, I've said my piece about this and given my reasons. If this is the way things are going, I'll deal with it.

With lag, you would be forced to wait to do another command. Bash, trip, order have lag.

Cool down would give you time to do other things while you wait to be able to eat again. Spirit doll has a cool down.

Then no, because if you can eat and then bash, you've not solved the problem.

Eating should have lag.

It's possible to add pill/potion cool-down without modifying the current lag time at all.

Being able to eat and bash within the same round isn't the problem they are wanting to fix here. Being able to eat your way through the damage coming at you is. You can eat and bash in the same round, that's fine. Can you survive long enough to wait through the cooldown and eat your next herb, even if your opponent is bashed?

I guess, but what I'm getting at is that adding cooldown would now allow me to:
>bash
>quaff heal (eat mistletoe)
>disarm
>bash

As opposed to having to pick one or the other, and that just seems weird. I'm choosing to pull a vial out of my magical pack and chug it, or I'm slamming into the guy, or knocking his sword away... but not two at a time.

They are not mutually exclusive. You can have both.

I'm not sure that pills introducing both lag and cooldown is too hard to swallow. Oh yeah, I went there.

Now that's what you should be aiming for, though I'd have made the cool down between pills/potions longer.
