Yes it is. Probably not as bad as the other ones I mentioned, though.

I disagree. Hellions are awesome even without any spells. I was successful with Veloras mostly with physical skills the hellions provide. I'd argue that a dwarf hellion is better then a delf hellion. But whatever, you don't even play so don't get an opinion! Go play.

The only reason that dwarf priest isn't 100% awful is because they at least have the possibility of polymorphing to avoid their abysmal INT score.

Dwarf hellions are indeed horrible. They are so bad. They're just bad.

Dwarf bard is definitely worse than dwarf hellion, except in the case of polymorph scrolls.

I had fun and some success using a dwarf priest.

But that was when there were more OP scrolls and prior to the concentration changes that make scrolls/devices require free concentration. Definitely wouldn't want to play one now.

I use to loved playing my dwarf priest. He did have some cable skills help to make him effective in PvP but there is nothing like being asked to hurry up by someone waiting for a rez and having them interrupt the spell. So you could complain to them about being impatient.

Having never played a giant warlock I cant comment all that much, with brew and wands at your disposal you are not crippled by not having your elemental yes its going to hurt but 90% of people know that going in and the other 10% are going to find out quickly enough that it shouldnt affect them too much. Besides having the hurt is half of what makes a combination like this fun to play. Also being able to bash is something that shouldnt be scoffed at.

Okay seriously if you think giant warlocks are strong at all on a mechanical level then you're nuts

Jhorleb, everyone knows you don't count! But yes, the concentration change definitely murdered dwarf priests, I hadn't even thought about that.
