I thought he was rocking a glaive, but it is a bill. My bad. As for being sure of myself, I was just bringing it to the attention of the poster that he was using a hard to parry massive. It was snarky in nature and less of a real question.

I was aware he was using a massive. That was the entire point of picking a character like that. I'd rather test in the extremes to see how well it was. As it stands now I can't recommend anyone play the class.

What was the enchantments on the bill and the epees?

btw, I wasn't doubting what you posted, just was very curious on why I didn't see a single dodge fire, just wanted to verify/unverify.

Thanks to the additional information, I pulled the characters in question over to the test mud, ran some tests and discovered a bug in the calculations (a bug that was added due to some compilation warnings after all the original skill tests had been completed). It was a pretty major bug actually and resulted in most all the benefits of hedgehog stance being nerfed. :(

Will be fixed for the next reboot. Here's something more like what you can expect after the fix (keep in mind the crap equipment I threw on Araceli because she was dead when I pulled the file AND a massive two-hander is still very hard to parry):

Code:
> look araceli
This young human girl is about five feet and eight inches in height.
Wavy brown hair tumbles down her back. Piercing blue eyes stare out
into the world. Her body is supple and lithe, like a dancer's.
Overall, Araceli is in excellent condition.

Araceli is using:
<worn on body>       the chieftain's breastplate (superb)
<worn on legs>       the chieftain's mithril leg armor (brand new)
<worn on arms>       the chieftain's mithril arm plates (brand new)
<right hand>         a mithril epee (superb)
<left hand>          a mithril epee (superb)

Moldran cleaves at Araceli's chest, DISEMBOWELING her!
Araceli parries Moldran's attack.
Araceli ripostes Moldran's attack!
Araceli pierces at Moldran's chest, barely wounding him.

Also in case it isn't obvious, hedgehog stance is not designed as a winning move in a 1-on-1 fight. It's supposed to make you a better tank while your allies dish out additional damage.

World standard on character description there. Woooo!

Also, I wasn't complaining about not dishing out damage. I never thought the hedgehog stance was made for that, but I was dismayed that it didn't do much to address what it was supposed to do: defense.
