On a more pragmatic perspective to what I think the proposed idea of the thread is, adding indoor maps similar to the way in which outdoor maps exist doesn't make sense on multiple levels.
For one, the worldmap is just that: A worldmap. There aren't doors, and hallways, and corners to navigate around (As a general rule, obviously). It would be very odd to add such things in for indoor areas.
Secondly, the worldmap doesn't have to deal with going up or down, and trying to delineate that visually in a text-based medium from exits north or south would just be confusing.
Thirdly, that would be so much more work than could ever be accomplished. There are thousands of thousands of rooms in SK. What you're suggesting is that all of them be updated, individually, to have a visual depiction of their surroundings in a text-based game in a way that doesn't interfere with their current descriptions. That would be unbelievably time-consuming, and honestly wouldn't add that much more clarity to the game as compared to what it already has.
