D-A seriously. I don't think I've ever seen anyone cry this much over anything. Warlocks got a buff, to make it so that they don't suck horribly DEAL WITH IT.

It's not like there are any NPCs that cast magma, so what are you worried about?

Don't waste your breath, Syndal. Dark-Avenger is not interested in balance or common sense; in fact, he's the type of person that if he were currently playing a warlock, he'd be crying for more buffs and trying drown anyone calling for magma nerfs in a river of tears.

There are tons of things that are inconsistent and illogical on the MUD, but exist for balance purposes and to make the game fun. I'll take a balanced and fun game over a logical game any day of the week.

What things are incosistent and illogical Finney but still exist for balance reasons?

And fyi, I've rolled a warlock already. I'll try an Algon approach in getting this obviously imba thing wimped.

That is laughable. Unless Dulrik adds a voodoo-like global range to magma spray, I don't think you'll be able to pkill anyone while hiding in Kol's Moot. After all, given your history, there's a 99.92% probability you will join the CoN again.

By all means, though, show us what a bad arse you are and how unbalanced and overpowered magma spray is during your pkill spree. *chortles*

The Algon approach is how every game gets newb code changes fixed. Keep up the good work, DA!

Even Finney used the Algon approach when he used dynamic aliases in a different mud! If its broken and the imms won't fix it, get it fixed yourself!

Finney, none said it has to be a main char. He'll be a secondary char, who will be more or less playing like Boug(rez;c 'conjure elemental';c magma;j all and repeat if I die). I'll die 2352412432 times, but I'm sure I can manage to make a few players cry when they lose their enchanted suits because there was no way to save from this cheat spell, especially centaurs.

I've always pointed out what I considered to be overpowered abilities on any class that I've played no matter the MUD. That is not a method and is not attributable to any person in particular, even myself. It is called being intellectually honest.

Now I just need to convince Dulrik to remove auto assist in pkill. *nods sagely*

So let me make sure I understand your line of reasoning. You are going to prove that warlocks are overpowered by dying constantly and accumulating a scrub-like kill to death ratio?

Brilliant! Your arguments are getting more and more absurd.
