I might not be able to make him sway, but I sure can make him swoon. Isn't that right, Big D?

Just popping in to say that after I've talked to some people I agree the necro in several PVE situations needs looked at. No need to rehash a bunch of discussion, just hadn't really had my head on PVE at all. I think this can be accomplished via ways other than nerfing the wraith army's PVP ability but I imagine D has a good idea of whatever response to this thread he wants to make.

Really, necros in PvE are easily fixed. Just make NPCs have scripted dispel so that it cancels wraiths. Or if it's lightie NPCs, scripted holy words will bombard it. Viola, problem solved. This also makes them harder for groups due to spam buff removal, but still. Win win. Harder pve, no solo necros.

That is a horrid idea, especially in light of the recent enchant changes and impairment system.

No NPCs should be scripting anything at this point, really.

I'd be ok with outer guardians having Hp nerfed but scripted dispel to prevent solo relic ganking. I think that's how they used to be.

Scripted dispel was bad and it should feel bad.

I'm okay with necros rocking it in PvE just as much as they currently do except in one specific circumstance. Actually bringing an undead army somewhere they are really needed for PvE is very volatile and time-consuming, much much more than any other class. It should come with a strong benefit. However, there is one circumstance where I think that necros have it too easy, and that circumstance is CRS. I have some easy to implement ideas to that end.

Outer and inner guardians need to have low-level weapon immunity. I have noticed that outer and inner guardians seem to be hurt by low level weapons, and this used to not be the case as far as I remember. They should be immune to all weapons level 35 and below, so that the necro has to actually spend time equipping and carrying around weaponry if he wants to do anything in CRS. This means that the necro will have to risk losing all his enchanted/high level weaponry if he wants to risk taking on an inner or outer guardian with undead spam.

Also, berserk does NOT need to increase MP. That is so cray cray. Barbs already got the full service treatment with this code update. They didn't need berserk increasing MP instead of decreasing it on top of that.

Yeah, what's up with berserk giving a bonus to MP now?

Edoras suggestion seems to work also. My main concern is with crs speed runs as well.

I'm not. It's a glaring imbalance.
