There already are advantages to playing a deep-elf - resistances to magic and charm type spells, faerie fire is a really useful tool, also innate sneak

Also I couldnt find the "exhaust" thing you mentioned, where did he suggest it?

Although id rather keep dominated and have the cost lowered than get slow.

I like the idea of them getting slow and parry. And domination could use some tweaking. And to josephusmaximus3's post Deep-elfs get inate sneak not hide.

In your opinion. Get some decent enchants and reflex resists.

I dont think it actually has a greater chance of hitting, just a greater chance of nimbuis and mroe damage, and i remember fighting one paladin with my hellion and i only had a sword and shield cause i had returned from being dead and I was getting half-saves a pretty decent ammount of the time. So I dont think its too bad unless they trian art.

All I will say is that I never had any problems landing my bolts with my last paladin on delfs. That was before they modified enchating and before art existed. So you had no art power backing you up and enchant was not as it is now.

Hmm well my last and current hellions are half-elf. Before that was two deep-elves. Ill have to create another and test it out.

And that last deep-elf was pre-art and before the changes to BoG to add nimbus and i assume make it stronger.

edited to fix typos.
edited again because i realize i had said paladins instead of hellions... when referring to deep-elves.
