The availability of [REDACTED] weapons should not be under discussion.

you can buy waks at the same shop in teron. Of course they are steel and not tanso...but they are cheaper. Everyone knows where to get the tanso waks and they come enchanty.

Damage = Damage
Speed = Speed
Accuracy = the ability to cause a critical strike (change this back to ability to hit.)
Parry = the heighten chance of a weapon being able to parry
Critical strike = the ability for the weapon to hit a specific point adding a higher damage factor to lighter weapons.(Make this it's own category used for weapons like rapiers and such that use prescision body shots to put an enemy down)

Add Breakthrough. A weapons ability to blow through a parry, greataxes and such weapons that are meant for an overbear break/crush attack

Baisically change the weapon formating soe it has a broder spectrum allowing every subtype to acctually have a good basis for its devision.

A pair of sticks may not have a high damage, they have and awesome speed, even better parry, critical strike would be mid range (mainly because they are designed for a lock trap and grapple.) They loose their ability to do much damage they give you your four attacks and instead of high damage output they instead give an unparaled parry ability.

I am bored.

PS

add weapon break also

Give the weapon the ablity to damage incoming weapons on a succesful parrry. Material factors included.

Balance The ability to control the swing of the weapon, it's ability to be parried. (Certain weapons would gain a speed and parry bonus with the right balance, a scimitar for instance is a nice dancing blade, great parry speed, based off weight and balance.)

Add one-two hand option to certain weapons bastard swords katanas and such, depening on the weapon adds to different categories while subtracting from others. I would love to see EVERY weapon have a one hand weild ability, then have the nasty sideaffects from using the weapon in that stance.

Really really bored.

stfu, Kalte. We don't need this stuff. We JUST had it changed so that weapons don't break as fast, and now you want to screw it back over again? What kind of crack are you smoking?

Suggesting stuff towards making subclasses more desirable.

Certain weapons are designed to snap other weapons, not every weapon should be given a weapon break score. On top of that it should be a slight damage added to weapon breakers on a succesful parry.

Everything else is just stuff you have to consider when you are picking a weapon. My weapon of choice is a pair of sticks, but I like the speed the versatility and the mix you can get out of proper use of them.

Here's the thing, though. You say material factors in, but a weapon breaker probably wouldn't be extremely high level material (or if it is, there'd be only one), which means the weapons it'd break ALSO wouldn't be high level. Which makes it...worthless, yeah? What's the point of having a ts weaponbreaker that only breaks ts, iron, wood and stone - when everyone tries to pk with mithril or adamantite/energy? Those three weaponclasses have VErY strong lasting power. Suggesting a weaponbreaker might have been good for sacred armor, or the end of a quest in a high level area - but that's not something EVERYONE should have access to. It's like giving everyone access to (insert cabal skill here).

I doubt that the idea has any merit to Dulrik as it is, I am haighly bored while leveling, I was attempting to find a broader set of variables to base sub-classes on so that they have a closer spectrum rather than everyone using flamberge/battle spears. Wakizashi/katana.

I take pride in inventing the flamberge/battle spear specialization that still thrives today.

Weapons DO do damage to other weapons on parry. Take a pair of plant weapons or something and go fight someone that is using adamantite weapons.

Even if your both naked the plant/paper/brone weapons will mess themselves up during parries to other weapons.
