I've read the topic and I still don't understand... ? How are three letter names going to be any easier to abuse than they are now? I want three letter names!

I'd be more interested in enabling names with apostrophes and hyphens.

You know, you can have three letter names without necessarily prohibiting hyphenated names or names with apostrophes, Salandarin :P

Out of habit, most everyone uses 3 letters, or less, to address someone out of faster convience. I don't see how it would really make a difference if someone wants to use a 3 word name. Just tag a 2. in front and problem solved.
