I remember when all you needed to voodoo someone at full damage was to have them greet you.

Voodoo isn't as bad as you folks are making it out to be, really. It's just that shamans and warlocks are the flavor of the week. In two months it will die off and something else will take their place for you guys to complain about being over powered.

Just my bitter two cents.

No, you had to greet them. :P

The person had to have greeted you if you wanted to do full damage to them.

Yeah, Tempe sucks too.

I can't wait until it's not 98 degrees at 11pm

I remember the good old days when I get Three's shaman and someone else together to spam voodoo the Hammer. I think Three got stripped of the spell for it.

Good ol' gnome shaman voodoo gank.

They couldn't even see where you were casting it from then too.

I think the problem with the spell is that it can still be cast in remote, heavily guarded locations, even though it can no longer be used from areas warded against gate and summon. The risk is still minimal considering it can be used from an area that is populated with guards or NPCs aggressive to the victim of the voodoo.

Exactly. Allowing victims, or allies to gate to the shaman when there is a good chances an army is waiting on the other end is not much of a drawback.

Summon spell was nurfed to require summoner to toggle auto summon in order to not resist at all, and summon doesn't kill anybody from anywhere.

Why the spell still exists in this game is beyond me, much like Final Strike.

Oh come on, final strike is perfectly reasonable.

It's that spell that negates the advantage of a heavily enchanted kit. It's the thing that people FEAR.

Voodoo is still in the game so incompetent people can get a kill.

Final strike has but one use unless the gods give an exception, atleast according to the help file. It's a last resort only, take everyone with you type spell.

Voodoo on the other hand is a "sit anywhere in the world, voodoo anyone in a nonmagic room and kill them while you're safe repeatedly" spell. That's the difference in the two.

Final Strike IS overpowered. It's meant to be. It's a one time use thing only. Voodoo is a normal spell that's just too powerful and needs to be toned down a bit.
