Not to stick a hole in people's beliefs, but a large sized cleave isn't that much more damaging.

I used to enlarge myself when I'd cleave sometimes and it seemed to me giant strength and an enchanted weapon made a bigger difference. I'm not even sure if cleave considers size when dealing damage.

And keep in mind, centaur have low cha and [REDACTED] for dex (both of which are very highly valued in a hellion), along with the weaknesses....

No thanks. I'd not play a centaur hellion or a dwarf hellion. You can put them there, but they'd be like deep-elf anything-but-necro.

Speaking of which, deep-elf is the most pathetic race. Give them 25 int already and change their iron weakness to silver ffs.

I think that every class a centaur can be, another race can prove a more viable option in the end. You just can't handle the awesomeness of adding a race/class combo that would actually be dangerous.

Adding one overpowered race/class combo does not ungimp that race as a whole.

Centaurs are not gimps.

Players are.

It has often been discussed about what improvements could be done on the centaur race, no need to beat a dead horse again. I am positive that if D finds any of those ideas worth implementing, he will do so.

The real point of this discussion is that dwarves and centaurs SHOULD be able to be paladins or hellions.

...if you have a Hellion of Thuban....wheres the honor in treachery?

I really don't want Hellions in my faith, unless their introduction is accompanied by code that allows them to ICly delude themselves into believing they're following a different god altogether and OOCly appear on the 'who religion' list of said faith.

i.e. a Hellion of Thuban who believes himself to be a Paladin of Aludra!

Which is kind of the only way I can see a Paladin of Aludra working either.

To get back to our original topic, I will agree that Hellions of Dabi would be pretty awesome, however.

Overruling Thuban here. We are not accepting any Hellions of Aludra! Sorry. Someone tried that and then let Algorab get all touchy feely in the temple. Ick! It took us years to scrub out the temple.

We did, however, allow a paladin of Aludra.

I rather like the idea of paladins and hellions being able to expand into other faiths but I think the faiths that are primary should be where the majority are. I think good RP and an IMM setting the flag is what it should take to go into a different faith than the primary ones.
