Well, if you want to keep it a secret, you could maybe, just maybe, put a teeny-tiny bit more effort into your title?

Or... let it be as it already is, perhaps?

Every single time you do this, Syn, the P-Base disagrees with you.

I don't quite like having titles which aren't rooted in anything, however, I also dislike obviously prominent players who are title-less.

I usually flag my title whenever I hit a religion or my class/cabal becomes general knowledge.

Not going to read this all. All I know is, if you want to force someone to have a title, fine. But don't even dream about forcing someone's title to fall within a certain boundary. That leaves the title to open interpretation of that IMM, and, IMO, you're just asking for trouble.

I voted "disagree" on it, Syndal.
Just because it's no good trying to force something on people, and by the looks of it most don't want it anyways.

I do have some ideas to make titles potentially more meaningful. The idea is that certain titles would be reserved, such as titles that a faith or faction picks for its leader. I also had the idea that certain quests could have an associated title that you only gain access to on completion.

With this idea, you would still have the ability to type in custom titles, but if you tried to use a reserved title, it wouldn't be allowed. There would be an alternate title command syntax to view and set the reserved titles to which you have gained access. I think this gives more meaning to titles and also provides another type of reward for doing quests.
