Hellions don't suck.

Natch. Even a bad rogue can be really dangerous if say you are at 60 percent hps and you just recall back to an inn or something. Rogue's are very dangerous. I personally believe Hellions are more dangerous then people are letting on here, but I've only ever had one hellion and he only hit master and I rage deleted over something.

Hellions don't really have [REDACTED] going for them. Hellions are suppose to be the offensive knights and paladins the defensive knights. Except that bog/holyword is way better than hellfire/cleave/maledicts/dominate(100% useless), and gm sanc completely shits on intimidate.

I mean once you get around the fact that dominates are 100% worthless you realize a hellions only chance against a prepared opponent is a crit cleave. They simply don't have any survivability in the front row and neither do their dominates.

the class hellion sucks (players are fine)

people who attack the hellion class and get intimidated shouldn't be allowed to run until intimidation is released

!!!

People who get intimidated should flee the room and have a bowel movement in their pants. I don't see any real reason why intimidate should keep a character bound to a room. Especially since it is god awful overpowered.

Why do I get the feeling the people that bash hellions really didn't bother playing the class?

You have to be a pro to play a hellion to the highest degree. A lot of you guys have been around for a while and I just get the feeling that you can't be bothered to put a little work and effort into your character. This is a class of skill, not of omgwtfownbbq for even a mediocre player, like the class of rogue.

Seriously, there needs to be more than "wah wah, this class sucks because I say so."

Yeah it definitely takes a lot of skill to land a crit cleave, which is the only way a hellion is ever going to kill a well prepared enemy.

I'd like to see some logs proving this statement.

Using a weapon one size smaller than yourself ups the number of critical cleaves you get dramatically. Admittedly, it makes your normal damage suck, but I went through Cain Techt once with a size small bill and every one in five cleaves was critical. Then I went back the next night and did it again.

Someone with a hellion go test. Mine's gone.

Does the weapon have to be smaller then yourself, or just a small size in general? In other words, would a dwarf get more crit cleaves then a human if that size thing comes out true?
