I think SK is the perfect game with the exception of the law system. I just am one of those people who thinks it is just wrong to punish a player in such a way. I would rather just the penalty for everything be death because at least when you die you can come back and carry on playing the game. I just hate it stops you from playing the game.

And with that I have said all I wanted to. This thread will get read and taken to heart or it won't, at least I can say I tried lol.

bounty NPCs are on their way out, it doesn't take an astral watcher to see that

when i ran the talon i'd let people with big sentences just be parole-banished for awhile if they were good sports


if they were annoying i just let them rot, half of those guys got broken out anyway

Throw a shovel in jail, put a labyrinth underneath with scary creatures,
and you've just given people some hope. If he dies , he loses his items, if
he doesn't he earns his freedom.
Make that a 'no-recall,summon,rift,teleport,gate,word of recall' labyrinth

That would be interesting.

Or change time-punishment for killing npc with something else
Lets say, more time for killing a pc

PK doesn't promote anything automatically. This whole jail qq -- and liri's explanation in particular -- is predicated on some of the shakiest systemic assumptions I've seen since CRS.

HTFU my little babies. If you seriously can't stay out of jail in this game, you have a serious problem. And if you are some guy auto-surrendering to avoid being banished, then that's the price you pay.
