Decrease the casting time of enchant armor and enchant weapon. Increase the cost. Remove the nothing happens option.

With Mira's clarification in mind, I will share what I think is my single most exciting, simple suggestion. It would require some coding, but I assume it would not need an overhaul of any particular system:

When a PC's pulse returns to normal, all status ailments caused by an NPC that are aggressive are removed.

My one idea looks like Achernar's idea here, except that I wouldn't increase the cost. I would make items hold fewer enchants in general. My idea looks like this:

I have no idea if that's easy to code, but I kind of suspect it isn't. Either way, it is a suggestion that in my opinion would greatly enhance many players' enjoyment of the game.

Someone correct me if I'm just suffering from sleep deprivation here, but I think the change would make it take a lot less time (but not a trivial amount of time) to get a decent suit, but would not make it much easier to get a l33t suit that made you immune to most spells.

nerf circle stab. it should do less damage. i would prefer to see it nerfed than backstab nerfed.

buff warlocks. making it harder to dispel their elemental by making it dependent on the warlock's enchants would be one way to do this
