Thank you for confirming the weapon(s) in use. This contrasts a racial weakness against the aura weakness.

Yes! Yet another CRS bashing thread. Just what I needed to come back from the void and troll the forum!

On a more serious note, hammer of light's abilities are just fine. You died from a charge. Too bad. If you liked the game before CRS this was an everyday phenomenon. Even for a centaur merc. When I was aurius I killed a certain entaur merc more than I could count with that lance, both because it ignored his stoneskin and because it was flaming.

It's really getting old to see people who just died from a skill to complain about it. There are so many if's involved in being able to use that specific skill, and its damage is in an average case so insignificant that you just don't use it, so instead of being frustrated, be happy the skill is still in use. It wasn't for quite some time. Just like the hammer of light specific weapon wasn't used pre-CRS. Unless you had just died.

No the hammer skillset isn't overpowered. No the fist skillset isn't overpowered. No light isnt > dark. If you think about all the parameters you might be able to see what I'm getting at.

On the CRS matter though, yes it sucks. What's better still is that only so few people even like it. Last I checked, secret cabal HQ's now even have ?'s at their door. Guess it doesn't make too much of a difference, I would always find a bajillion imps standing outside the supersecret 'closet' that was the hammer HQ back then because the adept member who left em there had previously played a hammer, but it still feels wrong to just know where the fist monastery is from 5 leagues away.

But what can ya do? Suggest a better CRS system? Sure, theres that idea, like a 3-point capture game to get the relic and such but, can you survive another season of chaos and mayhem while trying to figgure out this new system? I still fondly remember the days we lured guardians out with bows and how the entire hammer got wiped by its own guardian and then looted by the adepts. Heh.

Hell I even remember logging in after having logged out the previous day in hammer HQ to find myself in [EMPTY] and the castle of morea flattened to a Quake 3 arena map. All the story, all the NPCs just gone. No explanations! (I think this sentence has become my trademark anti-crs stamp over the years)

Bottomline is yeah, we agree CRS is bad. So don't use it. If nobody does, it won't matter that its there. So long as its used however, it is proved that its a valid addition to the game, and we can just stick a thumb up our ... and [REDACTED] all we want, the fact remains.

I love to friendly. Ask baldric or peso or...a lot of other people. Friendlying I'd say is close to a hobby of mine.

I honestly haven't even seen a single CRS raid in ages. I don't think the numbers have been high enough to muster a group that could take an inner guardian by any cabal, maaaaaaybe with outside help from another cabal. I'm just thinking that it would almost be pointless and some cabals would just die outright if their relic was ever taken at this stage.

There were nine cabal raids in a week recently. Over half were successful. It seems several of those may have involved some player on player conflict. Successful raids had at least three attackers. There have been less than three deaths in the nine raids. When there were defenders, they were outnumbered, and they lost the relic. None of the raids had more than six attackers. None had more than two defenders. I feel that the current set up is a good mix. Do any of the current (since March) competitors agree?

I think that the current set up would make an match closer in number possible and exciting. We should let warring cabals set public stakes and schedule raids on each other. That would be fun. I'd like to see a few more raids on this current set up.

Like a dance off.

The loser would have to move their guardians to the red swan for a week. It'd be awesome.
