It seems as if disarm will be very decisive in some situations. I am curious to see how it plays out over the coming months of trial and have my doubts that it will be that game breaking. Still, I wonder how hard it would be to code the "get" command to have a 1 round lag per item picked up if used in combat instead of making it impossible to use.

I'm just going to re-iterate how much I despise the "you can't recover your weapon if you get disarmed" crap. Great change. :evil:

Syntax: disarm <victim>

The disarm skill allows a warrior to attempt to knock an opponent's weapon
out of his hands.  While there is nothing stopping someone from picking
up their weapon again...

Um, yup. Gonna have to change that particular help file. Hehe. Kudos to all the warriors who actually took the time to train disarm. Your ship has arrived.

Actually, there are two things that disarm can do:
1. remove your weapon but it's still in your inventory, in which case the help file stands correct
2. remove your weapon and make you drop it, in which case the help file needs be corrected

I'm thinking a new skill for everyone called "dive" you dive for your weapon that was disarmed, have a chance of getting it and a chance of failure, but for 1-2 rounds you are lagged
