I have knowledge of the game. If a person makes a char in the Empire, do you really expect someone brand new to know that they need to go to a different kingdom to get something that isn't a practice dagger for less than 1plat? The only place I that is not horrible and everything is reasonably priced is the starting area for the Wastes.

Everything quoted here is dead wrong.

Not only is this wrong, it's just plain stupid.

The part about replacing a weapon is right, afaik. I always have to just spam kill crap until I have a few platinum to buy a weapon.

Unless I want to super twink and like go get a longsword from Morea. Or a flamberge from the Taslamaran Palace.

Srsly, o all sleep. Go take a [REDACTED] or smoke something during this time. Pets work just fine for leveling, and there is enough coin to buy 5000000 pets if you can't manage that. There is a pet for almost every kind of training area(magic resistant, or just a member of tough.inc).

A relatively recent change to the Kytar newbie zone means that any true newbie, who will follow the starting quest chain, will have 2-3 plat at the end. That's more than enough to train a selected weapon at 1 copper per and buy a weapon from the armory, and there are lots of NPC scripted directions given to aid in the accomplishment that goal. In fact, I'd argue that it is more time effective to NOT twink the Kytar newbie zone. Overall a great job done by whichever imm put the work in to fix it up.
