How about starting by taking the damn echo off of Love's guardian since that sword was changed into an armor piece???

Right now the echo goes off that it's in the person's grasp...are they fondling themselves in public????

Edited to Add: Have staff gone through and reviewed the sets recently? I know when some of the sets were originally created, the HFs tailored the suits to their individual characters rather than what was in line with the faith.

The only change I'd support for now is making all the faith equipment hard to attain.

I am so down for this.

Always had an issue with this. Any time I've redone a sacred suit I've tried to make it more applicable to anyone who might wear it in the future.

Alright, but perhaps normalize some of the sets, Sadal still has water equipment, Yed has mithril and I don't need to unleash Sargas here and tell everyone exactly what he thinks about mithril

... You also should have your gameplay threa privileges revoked. The armor for the faiths go by heavy, light, clothy. Help armor2.

I'm the lone wolf, but I like sacred armor because I think it encourages people to roll priests and join religions, thus creating more RP in the game.

That being said, after having two characters who wore sacred armor from ridiculous locations (Faerti-Mira and Menkh-Yed) I was blown away when I realized how easy some of the other religions get their sacred armor! I think making it harder to get to would be sweet.

I'm all for making it harder, as long as it doesn't require a symbol. It's become so ridiculous at times to get a symbol. That or make certain npc priests that can grant them to pcs through asking and checking the pfile.

I've always been for NPC priests able to make symbols for people in the faith. The main counter-argument is that we'd be losing out on RP with the PC priest in question. In reality, I've never had to prove myself to my priest to get a symbol back. I never expected to with some of my characters, but Thaius (who follows Sargas) lost his once when he was killed in battle. I was sort of expecting for him to have to re-prove his worth or something. But it was as easy as asking for another symbol.

I don't think we'd be losing too much RP by implementing this, but if we're going to talk about it, let's make a thread for it.

Used to be you could get symbols from NPCs. The argument is that it should require interaction to get symbols, even if that interaction is as simple as "Hey, I needz new symbolz, kay?/ Kay, here u goes."
