I guess I just completely disagree with you. A necromancer who has good weapons for his undead, a sorc who has good weapons for his charmie, hellions who keep multiple weapons for their dominates, or a tribunal member keeping weapons for guards are all legitimate. Acquiring weapons from an enemy so that you can give them to your allies is completely fine, in my book, as well.

Taking a weapon from someone just to keep it away from them is lame and makes you a pansy. To me, it says, "I'm scared of you when you have this weapon." I'm not, in any way, saying that is is bad RP. I am just saying that is lame to do this from a player-to-player respect level.

Maybe these necromancers and sorcerers keep weapons for a two-fold reason, to rob their enemies of their good weapons, and to arm themselves.

Some people just try too hard, though.

I can't help but feel that this was directed at myself.

Superman doesn't try hard -enough-. Batman still outdoes him.

Batman (while awesome) is the Wolverine (also awesome) of DC. He can do anything the writers want him to.

Get serious, I could stop Wolverine with a junkyard magnet and a pool filled with concrete...wonder why no one ever thought of that?
