I would like to be able to purchase 'Lesser' skills with loyalty tokens. Skills that are transferred across multiple classes, like third attack, sneak, dodge, shield block. Etcetera. But not anything that makes a class truly unique.

That still falls under the prohibition of the ground rules for this thread. The skills you list may not be unique, but they are the workhorses on which every class is built. Giving a class that did not have third attack the ability to gain it would be a monumental increase in power. Just not going to happen.

Even getting "seemingly" harmless skills or spells like detect invis or detect aura will not happen.

I like the idea of a pity of the gods sort of rez (no drawbacks) for the cost of one loyalty token for characters up to like expert. You get 5 for free by verifying email, and because lately (the past two days since I've been playing) I haven't seen many priests on it would have helped a lot on my newbies during off peak hours.

There's only one skill I'd be okay with being purchasable in the loyalty token market: burning hands.

For real, though. It seems that with loyalty tokens, there's already a sort of overarching player account based on emails. Have some of these unlocks be 'account-wide,' for any characters.

1) Advanced Emote: Unlocks a sort of recho capability. So long as one of the variables is the originating character (to prevent asshattery that the loyalty token barrier would probably already dissuade), allows a person to create an emote that starts with words instead of the character's name. More freedom of writing/flair for those interested in it.

2) Custom Footsteps: Unlocks the ability to set footstep sounds (within reasonable guidelines), though I'm on the fence about this as it'll end up making some flamboyant #^&$ run around...I'm thinking I'd love this with certain characters. I would love something on a necromancer like "You hear manic whispering accompany weak, shuffling steps." Something like that, use your imagination.

3) XP Bonus: Goes without saying, give a bonanza (or higher than a bonanza) XP bonus for a set amount of login time. Perhaps have this be group-wide and tied to familiarity, to promote someone becoming a center of attention with their character.

4) Familiarity Reset: Allows a character to reset familiarity with an area they've grown far too accustomed to.

5) Non-playable races: say if someone wanted to play a goblin, let them, and just mirror everything about halflings. Makaar with griffon (other than alignment), etc. Much more work, but a feasible option.

6) Infinitely more work than the last, have a set of clues for some quests that you can unlock globally with LT.

7) Mastery of skills with LT.

8) Replace all instances of drowning for a character with deep-elfning.

9) Loyalty token rune sets.

10) Reduce/remove penalty for reincarnations with a character.

That's all I have for now.

Unique pets. Personalize your own pet from a list of NPCs. Flashing red pony. Here I come. 8)

Reputation in kingdoms, restrictions on alignment. Similar to the way some NPCs react in Nerina to certain alignments but based on LT contribution. Tax free shopping. Nice chatter from NPCs around town.

Add permanent items to the game with reasonable placement. Maybe 20 base for a mentor item and more based on a scale. More options for tokens. Default material with option to improve. Default type of attack (non-magical) with option to improve (magical). Subtract cost for being the first of it's kind (One-handed adamantite no-dachi). Option for alignment restriction. Scripts should come at a cost probably = to an item with the all options. Which also brings up the idea for multiple people being able to contribute to the creation of that item. Can be strictly IC, or open to OOC.

I like the first and third idea, but the middle one doesn't make much sense to me unless it were very closely policed so that, for example, one of my former Hammer members who was reviled by most of the people who lived in Nerina at the time couldn't buy himself royal treatment while he was there :P.

Immortal blessings to remove hunger and thirst! To be able to drink massive amounts of booze without getting drunk! To be able to eat things that aren't food!

I like the idea of being able to use LP in place of obsidian for building.

I like the idea of potentially getting socials added to the game with LP cost. Letting you add your chars trait as a social.

Something I wouldnt mind seeing LP used for is organizing Imm assisted RP. I know this is a little tricky because the Imm still has to be willing to do the RP your looking to have done. Similar to replacing cost of building rooms, after you get Imm approval they give you a LP cost.

Perhaps some advanced skill/spell training for LP. This would enable you to RP your skills up rather than grind them.
