Aw come on. Should at least be able to keep a "powered down" version of it, even if it does nothing at all. A more fun souvenir than a cloak.

I can guarantee the event will not end in a final strike. There won't be any magical aura detection going on either. But instead of just saying what won't happen, allow me to segue into setting some general expectations for the ball:

Part of the charm of this event is the mystery involved. Thuban is the imm in charge of the general event and I'm sure he has some plans. Of course, this is a Harlequin-sponsored event, so the Harlequin players may or may not have some ideas as well. And of course, every other character that attends is capable of contributing to the RP potpourri.

Some RP events are more scripted than others. When there is an invasion of giant insects, it's pretty easy to anticipate what players are going to do. Other types of RP events, such as this one, are more free form. We are giving you the rare chance to interact with other players without having to worry about being instantly PK'd. And the immortals running things are going to be more willing to roll with whatever events take place.

This is an event for all of you who believe that SK is still a game about roleplaying, not just who can PK the best. I hope those people will put on their thinking caps and try to make something out of it.

And if that doesn't work, the masks could always stop you from casting final strike.
