I must say I completely agree with Jardeks thoughts on this matter. To make more easily accessible leveling areas, without the groups, the nasty spells and the patrolling killing machines.

I've been playing SK on and off for a very long time now and I remember 4-5 years ago, when the chancel was implemented. Right about that time, you could level pretty fast with a lot of enjoyment. The route to GM I would most likely take, as a darkie at least, was the newbie area then the teron acolytes, then the crossroads haven monks(and staying there for a looong time), then a quick tour to the torrum arcana, then a visit to Elisair palace and I was ready for the temple of murder. It was a blast to me, leveling new characters, because you knew where you could go and you did not get stuck in between areas, there was a clear path.(Most likely not the quickest route, but I was happy with it nonetheless)

Now, the teron acolytes have been changed(why I have no idea) and the area familiarity has been introduced so you can't kill the acolytes in low levels if you wanna go back there. The crossroad haven monks have inexplicably all throw out the doors to their room, making them a lot harder to kill because of the effects of confusion. The torrum arcana may be pretty much the same, although it seems the exp there isn't as good as it used to be and elisair palace has been turned neutral and [REDACTED].

This is just an example of how I've experienced the changes to the exp system and others systems in the game, over the last years. Another example is the removing of the ways to earn a quick buck in the game, the loads of cash flowing around the game is now owned by the people who have insight into getting it easily. Back in the day, you could sell stuff and kill stuff for it, but that was too convienient as well. Had to be changed.

I am completely oblivious to some of the changes that has been made in this game, especially in the area-department. Why change a perfectly good area to a really [REDACTED] area, just because people level easy there? It goes beyond me. However this is the reality of the game today and I still play from time to time, however I usually get stuck around 25-30 these days, because it just isn't worth the time it takes.

I'd like a few more good areas for leveling and why is it so horrible to make an area easy to level in?

<yyyy> Seconded
<zzzz> yes it is

It's really as simple as that.

I wouldn't want to continue playing either. I don't have all day to sit and play, so anything that makes it drag on longer will make me uninterested faster.

On a positive note, did anyone even notice that we introduced two new levelling areas during the Bonanza? How about giving some constructive feedback to our two newest immortals? (Please do not give away IC details such as information about quests or special items.)

How does one give constructive feedback towards an Immortal when they are Wizinvis 90% of the time? Unless they take credit for what they have done, or visible and their actions known to others. I mean the only feed back I could possible give in regards to one of them, IE Nashira is that their entry/exit message is kind of fruity. But that's all I got.

Hmm... they show up on my area command:

[Ini to App] The Ice Fortress in Northern Wastes
[Vet to Men] The Gypsy Camp in Empire of the Bright Star

There was an entire event dedicated to each of these areas.
Sorry if you missed them.

I believe there is an entire forum for this called 'The Pantheon'. Just start a thread that compliments or critiques the new area. I'm sure the immortal in question will read it.
