I don't really know how strong this NPC is, but a necro solo-ing something, even without wraiths, means very little. You essentially have two lathron NPCs and maybe even a guard for all I know, and you can heal the lathron NPCs yourself as well as hit the NPC in question with every debuff in the book.

You taking on this NPC with two shadowy wights would be about the same as a GM shaman and two GM barbs taking on the NPC. I don't know what kind of group was actually involved in fighting the NPC, but I assume some of them were ill-equipped.


They probably had tigers fighting against them too, and Baldric is most certainly not one to rule those out.

However, realizing that the players in question actually did have access to the tower and managed to repeatedly die to a NPC is hilarious in and of itself, and I wish I had been there to watch it.

Only a fool would rule out the possibility of tigers when discussing game mechanics or battle plans.

I LOVED the RP/challenge this brought to everyone involved. Mainly because I only accidently died once. But there were literally 20+ corpses this made. Half were in a place hardly anyone KNEW how to get to, and the other half in a place only one COULD get to. If the merc and thieves guild could have a boss like Dianambis to get into I think they should be implemented. If someone stashes your stuff, and you know where and have enough friends, you'll crack skulls until you get to it.
