lag would mean you wouldn't be able to do anything for that 15 seconds.

cooldown would mean you can't quaff for those 15 seconds.

significant difference.

Personally I always thought that diminished returns on healing consumables used in short succession would be a good idea, like a backwards impairment. After you quaff five heal vials or so, they start having less and less effect, to the point of being useless until your body recovers from the ordeal of imbibing so much raw magic.

I think lag, or "cooldown" on the quaff command more so than what is already in place is a stupid idea. There is already a cost that has to be paid in coin for the vials, and time spent in brewing.

Moreover it would be silly to have priests and shamans relegated to heal bots during PvP, thereby reducing their effectiveness to maybe a holy word at the beginning of PvP.

I still don't understand why MR affects beneficial spells to begin with. Even if you cut the effect of MR trains in half so that beneficial spells bypass it, it would at least make MR something useful.

The only other idea I have is all spells cast within the group bypass MR.

That is what I would vote for.
Cut MR in half and allow beneficial spells to bypass it.
