Without giving out any IC info, I found that XP ticks per mana poor were better using another method of leveling as for some reason my new locks earthquake seemed to do half as much dmg as my last ones.

At a certain leveling ground my old lock could take out the NPCs with a full mana pool spamming earthquake, but with NPCs throwing weapons now you have to spend mana on ironguard or re-casting stone skin continually as some of the weapons thrown are stone and do not contain iron, all of that mixed in with what seems to me like reduced earthquake damage makes for a spell thats only purpose is to draw things out of camo in the wilderness.

Just a few random thoughts.

Magma isn't the most powerful damage spell, an unresisted FoD is. Even a resisted FoD will probably do more initial damage than a unresisted magmar, except against weak races. Not to mention, there are more highly played/better races weak to Neg.

There is no cling if you reflex save, so basically removing the MP screw job on the cling would make it more reflex reliant. Does anyone really mind that? Thinking about it, FoD/Harm are both fairly massive damage spells that don't give a damn about reflex, so at the end of the day this just opens the possibility of it being a king of damage spell, for a class designed to be a spell damage dealer.

Warning before your elemental tells you to screw off. Nice.

Removing MP check on cling damage. Nice.

Is it at all possible to give water and air elementals some kind of use? It's very rare the reach on a water elemental gets used, even though it is somewhat nice simply because you almost always need a tank more than a ranged low damage dealer.

If you made the elementals lvl with the caster and give one a unique ability then it would be just fine.

Sklz brings up a good point about FoD.

Proposed fix:

Give water elementals FoD.
