Corruption is laaaaaaaame RP in a game with 'remove curse'.
Why would remove curse remove corruption? Can spirit disorientation be removed by a spell? Edrain used to remove large chunks of xp from players. This way the level stuff is not present however multiple spirits disorientation plus whatever buffs on the player (haste, GS) will make the necromancers feared while at the same time players are not grinding to get back the xp.
Also Sypher limiting it to paladins and priests wouldn't make sense. It has to be everyone, sometimes necromancers make foes on the dark side to.
The spell should take a large chunk of ME to make to so that it cannot be scribed.
