Well, I was specifically thinking about the time Obama was asked at a town-hall meeting if his healthcare plan included choosing when and how to execute the elderly, to which he responded with something along the lines of:
"The government simply does not have the resources to visit the houses of every elderly person and choose how they should die."

. . .and he left it at that

I thought it was hilarious, but I'm not sure it worked for him.

Delear's brought an excellent idea to the table (to be expected, from a player of his caliber), and I think all his points are extremely valid. I find it wholly silly that you can have something as important as PK left entirely to initiation and group size. This would keep people on their toes and demand some semblance of attention to detail.

In regards to triggers - I don't see that as a valid threat. Such triggers are easy to identify, and could be quickly uncovered due to the proliferation of logs these days. Positive changes shouldn't be avoided solely due to the fear of abuse from a minority.

If only this sort of change would actually happen. PK needs a serious rework to make it strategically interesting and intellectually engaging, and this would put PK on the right track.
