I don't think Baldric's trolling, unless you define trolling as bringing up legitimate points despite most of the rest of the thread, at which point I guess I'd rather be a troll.

That is because your troll-fu is weak and you always take gameplay threads about class balance outrageously seriously (see: necros ).

Baldric seems intelligent enough that I suspect he understands that warlocks are very good in many ways. He also gets that his giant warrior did not, in fact, have a chance in hell at landing a solo kill on a well played/prepared warlock. But the more he makes it sound like it's the class instead of the player, the more the Kins of the world will rage on!

I don't think Baldric is mis-stating anything, or misleading anyone. In fact I think he's raised the most sensible points. Sure, there's no way that his giant warrior could have killed a well-played/prepared warlock, but there's also no way that a well-played/prepared warlock could have killed his giant warrior either, and for the reasons that Baldric stated. Warlocks just don't possess a lot of 1v1 kill potential unless they're in a good tribunal or cabal.

So you're saying that warlocks are on one end of the balanced spectrum of folks who can survive forever vs folks who can bash, and that giant warriors are at the other? Interesting. Tell me more...
