That and they'd have to roll out of creation as part of a tribunal or cabal just to keep up a political affiliation as a true assassin.

Anyways, a gnome ninja? That sounds just a little silly. The problem with making them grey-only is that you're basically restricting an entire class to a small section of the playerbase. With that aura, you can't join a large portion of cabals/tribunals, and having only four races doesn't help much of anything, either. Something this awesome should be available to just about everybody, IMO.

That's not a problem. That's totally expected. Whenever something new is added, people just want to see what the whole fuss is about.

It's not any more restrictive than a paladin or a necromancer. I think restricting it's 'awesomeness' is a great idea. It'll curb the possibility that the entire game recreates as a ninja.

How about a Master lvl skill that allows them to do a backstab without blowing their cover?

When we rolled out bards, we did actually add a bunch of new abilities for other classes at the same time. It wasn''t a total flood of bards.

This ability can only be used every so often for it takes the ninja time to put themselves in focus. This will not start a battle unless the person can see the ninja.
