Minette, it's written in the helpfile that it makes them immune to summoning but vulnerable to gating.

What is RTFM???

yntax: cast voodoo <victim>

By calling upon the power of voodoo, a shaman convinces his ancestor
spirits to summon the ancient voodoo spirits. Once summoned, the voodoo
spirits will seek out any one person in the realm and cause their body to
contort with unbearable agony.  If a spirit doll of the target is in
the possession of the shaman, the spirits will not have to waste energy
searching and will do much more damage.  Contact with the voodoo spirits
will frighten all other spirits away from the shaman for a time, rendering
him powerless.  Voodoo spirits do spiritual damage and as such the spirit
aura of another shaman can completely shield the victim from harm.

I do not see anything that says they are immune to summoning.

My understanding is this ---> You're immune to summon and vulnerable to gate no matter what for the 5 minutes after voodoo.

okay, I will say it one more time.

A SHAMAN MUST VOODOO FROM A SUMMON/GATABLE ROOM

Does this make them anymore vulnerable to summon/gate? No more than if they were in any summon/gatable room before the voodoo. It is just that gates are easier to land than summons.

5 minutes to land a summon on a Shaman should be enough.

YOU CANNOT SUMMON A SHAMAN DURING THE FIVE MINUTES AFTER VOODOO AND THEY HAVE NO RESISTANCE TO THE GATE SPELL.

Cyra is right. I was laughing after some voodoos as golg when newbies attempted to summon me to them.

And Muktar don't bother with any tests. If a room is gateable, you can summon and be summoned from there. Nothing changes really.
