But the str modifier for 2-h weapons did get modified...if I remember right.

Does this mean 2-h weapons do more damage now, Dulrik? On top of the "massive" ones being harder to parry? (And 2-h dagger backstab was already really nasty, dunno if that change affected that or not.)

Technically the 2-H weapons themselves do not do more damage. If you do not have a strength bonus, your weapon will not do more damage. But your damage will be higher now if you have a strength bonus (almost everyone) and you use a 2-H weapon.

So a human rogue (already one of the most deadly things in the game) does even more damage now?

A human rogue with giant strength to 25 str and frenzy could already almost drop a merc with backstab.

If by now, you mean as of a couple of months ago, then yes. I think it should have been obvious. There's nothing in the update that said "strength bonus for 2-H weapons was increased except for rogues".

Two months isn't that old, Dulrik, when there wasn't any testing done with it and there haven't been any competent PC rogues this whole time.

If there were any. And I was stupid enough to not have a pet behind me, sure.

And the point is they can drop /anybody/. Backstab with a follow up circle was already enough to gank a fully kitted merc. Now they do even more damage.
