While I like the general wimping of subtypes, because it somehow wimps the overpowered melee also, I think it has gone too far on some subtypes.

I also hope the builders don't start hearing to their crying buddies how the elite khopesh of doom for example is now utter crap and they ask for it to be changed to another subtype.

PS: I used khopesh because it was really wimped in this update. I kinda pity the khopesh specced mercs now.

Hopefully now builders can use more stylistic choices, instead of creating lots of goofy Egyptian sickle-swords! How a weapon as archaic and primitive in design as the khopesh became one of the best subtypes is completely beyond my reckoning. You might as well have made stone clubs the top tier weapon.

As for the buff-wimp, oh well. A bit untactful to screw over this generation of mercs, but what can be done. It happened to tridents and whatever else back in the day.

You know, no matter WHEN the update was done, some group of people would still be affected.

Which is exactly what's happening.

I for one, think it a method of genius.

Changing specs would not shaft any generation of mercs at all if you just let them pick another spec after you nerfed the [REDACTED] out of their choices - just like charisma didn't really shaft anyone when it was added, because everyone was given above-average charisma for their race.

I was thinking about what I did with your girlfriend*.
