Hey kids.

What is the best class right now, and why? What is the best religious class, the best fighting class, the best adventuring class, the best casting class, and the best overall class?

Feel free to include race/class combinations.

It really depends on what you're looking for of course.

I'm rather fond of priests right now. Great chances for RP almost all the time. Everyone needs a healer at some point or another. Not many people are going to refuse you in a group.

Paladin has always been my favorite class for the sheer ability and magnitude of their roleplay.

It's certainly one of the most fun classes I have ever played, even though I played one when they weren't the greatest class around (PK-wise). I'd suggest everybody play one at least once.

Right now I have a champion warlock, my first warlock in seven years and I must say they are pretty elite. With the right planning using wands/staves there are very few who will stop me. I have for a very long time loved fighters and have tested every combination imaginable for a mercenary who are also pretty nice. I think (as one of the oldest veterans) that any class is only as good as the person who plays it. Any class played by a veteran can own, even a gnome mercenary in my hands would be decent.

Neither of you have any idea.

But worse than having no idea, drewbag, you're not posting anything worthwhile. If that's going to continue to be the case, I'll be happy to make a thread for you to have fun in.
