Right now, if you look direction in the direction of a bashed door you will see something to the affect of:
Quote:
> The stout wooden door is open.
You see A hallway in the inn.
An astral watcher is not too far off south from here.
When you should probably be seeing:
Quote:
> The door has been broken off its hinges.
You see A hallway in the inn.
An astral watcher is not too far off south from here.
Or in the case of broken walls:
Quote:
> This part of the wall is broken down.
You see A cave.
I know it may not seem much, but the effect is better and it adds a bit more newbie friendliness to the game, so they can see where doors/walls do exist if they have been torn down before they have gotten there.
I don't think this would be too difficult to code either (if door bashed, then display xxx message, if not then doorname is open etc).
