This thread is asking what is most important to you out of what the New in 2007 thread generated. Note there will be another thread where you can vote for your second and third choices, please keep that in mind when you vote.

That is absolutely asinine.

I only included tweaking CRS because of the votes it got in the other thread. If you think about it, between Dual membership and kingdom warfare, CRS would have to be tweaked. Hence, if you like the other two ideas vote for them and get two birds with one stone.

Now would you please keep your epenor in your pants?

I voted for the armor system, since it was an idea I originally brought up.

Shoot me. I'm a still a little vain.

Everyone has talked about the problems that CRS has created. It is a broken system that ought to be fixed if it is to be used. We ought to be fixing the problems that are within the game before we add new things to it.

adding new things is a form of fixing it.

Fixing broken things shouldn't be on a 'wish list'. They should be things actively pursued (and as far as I can tell, CRS has changed a lot in the last year or so).

Wish lists are for those things you always wanted, but never had...like a standarized armor system to promote strengths and weaknesses in combat!

So I say again, shoot me. I didn't vote for CRS with any of my three votes!

(Voted for standardized armor, new class, and priest spells - things that would add more appeal to me as an old player...)

If CRS was redone and changed into kingdom warfare then, I believe that would fix it. From what I understand I thought that kingdom warfare would be in addition to CRS not instead of CRS. If it is the latter then I would be all for it. If it is the former then I am not sure that alone would fix the problem.

Ok, I have a serious question. HOW CAN YOU ACTUALLY SUGGEST DUAL MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT BREAKING DOWN AND LAUGHING?

Okay, yes, let me join the Hammer and the Peacekeepers, I get -awesome- spells from my guards and -awesome- skills/spells? Anyone else who isn't in dual groups wouldn't even stand a chance. Or let me make a merc Talon/Fist I get lightning fists + practically built in haste/gs, anyone want 6+attacks with e.damage and without the hassle of finding an addy/energy weapon or getting haste/gs/shield/armor/invis herbs?

The restrictions mentioned last time this came up about dual members not being able to order NPCs would make NO SENSE rp-wise. And neither would them not getting the cabal powers, so how would you balance this?

This is way too overpowered and would benefit certain groups more than others. Like I would say the Hammer/Peacekeeper combo would pretty much beat any other combo hands down. An Adept isn't going to get as much out of being CoN, as a Hammer would from being a Keeper, the Hammer skill/spellset beats the Adept one hands down in terms of usefulness. The Fist/Talon combo would probably kill the Adept/CoN one too.

And then this would basically destroy anyone wanting a grey character, since most of the Cabals are aura restricted. Grey's would need a boost along the lines of being able to use any and all aligned eq.

Also, rp-wise, I've always thought it was fun having to decide which group to join when I got an offer from say both the Hammer and the Keepers.

You forgot to mention that this does absolutely nothing to help the MC/Empire.

I kind of laughed at the idea of dual membership too, and while I didn't say anything when I first read about it, I did think: didn't we seperate the cabals and tribunals for a reason afterall, or did we all lose sight of that?

I figured most people would follow suit and discard the idea into the rubbish bin.
